Siebel’s eConfigurator and integrate it with the eSales Quote, Order and

for Project:

The client wanted to give customers the ability to 1) configure office automation equipment based on their compatibility requirements and business needs; 2) get quotes based on those configurations; and 3) place orders based on those quotes — all in real-time, over the
Web.
The client's products are sold in many different configurations. Prior to turning the quote and order process over to their customers to do via the Web, the client had to ensure that their customers would be able to configure products correctly so they could then select appropriate compatible products.

Eagle Creek implemented Siebel’s Product eConfigurator and integrated it
with Siebel eSales Quote, Order and Catalog modules to create a
smooth user experience, allowing customers to place accurately
configured orders over the Web.
This resulted in significant cost savings for the client — fewer
internal employees were required to quote products and place
orders for their customers.
