Objective
Amway selected Siebel Marketing as their global campaign management platform and Siebel Loyalty as their global loyalty management application. Amway implemented a roadmap for rolling out Siebel and BI globally while simultaneously decommissioning aging legacy systems. A primary goal was to achieve business efficiencies by providing the ability to deploy and run complex marketing programs as well as loyalty promotions across multiple regional affiliates. Another objective was to re-platform successful local campaigns into the enterprise footprint. They were seeking a Siebel/OBIEE partner who could supplement their internal team and allow Amway to earn a greater ROI on their investment in Oracle.
Solution:
During the past four years Eagle Creek Software Services has collaborated with Amway’s internal team in promoting multiple Siebel/BI releases a year into production. These releases include a variety of enhancements and application extensions. During this period, Eagle Creek has assisted Amway in meeting both their business as well as budgetary objectives by blending onsite consultants with offsite project center resources (The Dakota Model).
Eagle Creek has filled a variety of roles providing "flexible scalability" to meet Amway’s evolving business demands. These duties have included: business analysis, technical architecture, OBIEE marketing segmentation, OBIEE program design, ETL configuration, Siebel configuration and integration development, as well as systems administration.
