Project Manager
Location:
Development Center, Valley City, North Dakota
Position Description:
The Senior Project Manager will have responsibility for the successful implementation and integration of Front Office application products at a customer site from project initiation to full customer production rollout. In this capacity he/she will be expert in Siebel application functionality, technology and implementation in order to provide his/her accounts and team with a combination of technical consulting, project management, training, and mentoring.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan, control, and coordinate the development of multiple system projects from the initial definition phase, taking the concepts and following through to a successful deployment
- Establish and define the theoretical basis and principles for estimating project effort and duration, while analyzing customer needs and recommending appropriate technical solutions
- Identify major milestones and establish critical path within the project plan while monitoring and reporting progress toward milestones on a daily or weekly basis as required
- Serve as customer liaison on project facilitating daily and weekly project review meetings with clients and team members
- Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery in line with client expectations, ensuring that tight schedules are met
- Take meticulous notes and distribute reports, so as to thoroughly articulate issues and to escalate resolutions
- Consult with internal and external/client Technical Specialists and Technical Leads to clearly determine the roles and requirements of each consultant involved in the project/solution, while reviewing technical work for accuracy
- Foster and maintain good relationships with IT colleagues, both internal and external
- Seek out and champion new development, configuration and implementation efforts within current engagements providing Eagle Creek customers with long term value via technological and process modifications
- Exceed expected customer service levels
Position Requirements:
- Development/implementation/configuration experience required
- 2+ years of specific Front Office application (Siebel) experience is required, certification required.
- 7+ years of consulting experience within the IT industry
- 2+ years of project management experience implementing applications with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid experience managing/leading multiple teams on implementations of 5+ people
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms via presentations and written forms.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Travel will be negligible
- Masters degree in EE, computer science, math/science or an MBA is required
